Reading this site does not make us your lawyers
Neither does sending us a form, an email, a text, or a chat message. An attorney-client relationship starts only when we and you sign a written engagement agreement.
Until that happens, we are not representing you, we are not watching your deadlines, and we are not working on your case.
Do not send confidential information yet
Because no relationship exists yet, we cannot promise that what you send stays confidential or privileged. We may already represent someone on the other side of your matter, which can stop us from taking your case at all.
So tell us what happened in general terms first. Leave out documents, medical records, and details you would not want seen. Once we confirm we can help and you sign an engagement agreement, send us everything.
We take what you tell us seriously either way. Michigan's rules protect people who consult a lawyer, and we follow them. A rule is still not the same as a signed agreement, and you deserve to know the difference.
This is information, not legal advice
Everything on this site, including the guides and the FAQs, is general information about Michigan law. It is not advice about your situation. Michigan no-fault law in particular turns on facts, dates, and paperwork we cannot see from here.
Do not act or wait based on something you read here. Talk to a lawyer about your own case.
No promises about outcomes
Every case is different. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome. Nothing on this site guarantees or predicts a result in yours. Where we describe past matters, those results depended on their own facts and do not mean yours will end the same way.
Deadlines are real
Michigan sets time limits on injury claims, and no-fault benefits carry their own notice deadlines that run faster than most people expect. Miss one and you can lose the claim no matter how strong it was. If something happened to you, talk to a lawyer soon. Talk to us or talk to someone else, but do not wait.
Where we practice
Our attorneys are licensed in Michigan. This website is not an offer to represent anyone in a matter outside the jurisdictions where our attorneys are admitted. If your matter sits outside Michigan, call us and we point you somewhere useful.
Links to other sites
We link out to courts, agencies, and other sources when it helps. We do not control those sites and we do not endorse everything on them.
